A stroke is
a condition where a blood clot or ruptured artery or blood vessel interrupts
blood flow to an area of the brain. Anyone can suffer from stroke.
Although many risk factors for stroke are out of our control, several can be
kept in line through proper nutrition and medical care.
The HEART AND STROKE RESEARCH FUND
directs its efforts and resources towards supporting research programs,
clinics, charities and hospitals that have dual programs: 1. To educate the
public about the prevention and treatment of heart and stroke disease and, 2.
To provide therapies for the treatment and rehabilitation of heart disease and
other degenerative diseases. HSRF acquires and ships humanitarian aid, medical
supplies and equipment, as they become available, to hospitals and clinics that
treat heart disease and other degenerative diseases.
The Heart
and Stroke Research Fund is an organization that works together with other
charities, programs, hospitals, and clinics.
The Heart
and Stroke Research Fund (HSRF) is a non-profit, international organization
incorporated in the State of Arizona.
HSRF is an organization that
provides information and assistance to the general public concerning heart
disease and other degenerative diseases.
In addition, the Organization researches and educates the public about
therapies which have proven healing qualities, with emphasis placed on the prevention
and treatment of heart disease. HSRF also
provides medical supplies, equipment and humanitarian aid to programs,
charities, hospitals, and clinics internationally.
